Racine CRC Logo
The elements of Racine CRC's logo relate directly to our mission
statement:
The Circle of Trumpets symbolize our voices, given in unison, delighting in God
and praising Him. (See, Psalm 9:11 and Psalm 96:1-3.)
The Cross is a symbol of all Christianity depicting the manifestation of
God's love as described in Colossians 2:14, "He forgave us all our sins,
having cancelled the written code, with its regulations, that was against us
and that stood opposed to us; he took it away, nailing it to the cross."
The Bible is God's revelation to us - inspired, unchanging, infallible rule
for faith and life. (See I Peter 1:23-25 and II Timothy 3:16.)
The Heart symbolizes God's love for His people and our love for God and
neighbor. I John 4:7-8 says, "Dear friends, let us love one another, for
love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.
Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love."
The Strand of Thread represents the theme of the Bible that is perfectly woven
to reveal Christ and his sacrificial love for us. (See Luke 24:26-27)
The logo was designed by Rick Reinders, a member of Racine
CRC. Rick also designed our bulletin covers.
